This page is dedicated to the memories of the real victims of these heinous murders. Though they were battling their own skeletons, not one of these young ladies deserved the untimely fate they met. As you go through this website and listen to our podcast, we ask you to remember these young ladies Doreen Levesque, Karen Marsden and Barbara Raposa, as they were daughters, sisters, and even young mothers whose candles were senselessly snuffed out entirely too soon.

Doreen Levesque was only 17 years old when she was brutally murdered. Her body was discovered under the bleachers of Diman Regional Technical High School's athletic field. Despite the fact DNA was discovered (and positively identified) at the crime scene, Doreen's murder remains unsolved.

Karen Marsden was a 20-year-old single mother when she went missing. She had hopes of escaping the streets, getting her life together, and raising her child. Though she never identified the murderer(s), it is believed Karen may have been present for the murder of Doreen Levesque. It is said Karen was murdered out of fear she would break her silence and name Doreen's attacker(s). To this day, the whereabouts of Karen's remains are still unknown.

Barbara Raposa was reported as missing on November 7, 1979, after she failed to pick up her son from his babysitter. Her body was discovered January 26, 1980, in a wooded area on the outskirts of Fall River.  Barbara was only 19 years old.
